myResearch
myResearch, an enhanced electronic research administration (eRA) tool, will be GW’s integrated online system for proposal development and sponsored award management. The modernization of core research infrastructure is essential to support GW’s vibrant and growing research community. In response to GW's strategic initiative to enhance the research experience and feedback gathered during the faculty-led research ecosystem review, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) is spearheaded the implementation and ongoing updates of myResearch.

Please note that a patch will be applied to the SF424 module on January 9,th at 6 pm EST, to support NIH Forms-I submissions in the coming year, going in effect in January.
Expected downtime will be overnight, with the site up and running on January 10, 2025.
Service is operating normally outside of those hours.
Latest Upgrade for myResearch Software
The most recent software update of myResearch went into effect on June 20, 2024 to deliver the latest enhancements in Huron’s grants and agreements modules to the GW research community. Enhancements in this update to Huron’s version include a number of features that improve the user experience within myResearch:

- Streamlined application of inflation in personnel cost calculations
Login to myResearch
myResearch utilizes GW's single sign-on (SSO). The system can be accessed by visiting https://myresearch.gwu.edu and logging in with GW credentials.

- Contact your assigned research administration pod for assistance with questions specific to your proposals and awards.
- Review the myResearch training materials available online.
- Attend a training or Q&A session.
- Email [email protected] with questions regarding your myResearch access and role.
- Submit an IT Help Desk Ticket. If you encounter a system error message and require technical support, please submit a ticket that mentions “myResearch” in the description of the problem. Your ticket will be prioritized and routed to the appropriate staff for resolution.
