OSP E&T Unit: myResearch Enhancements- Funding Proposals and Budgeting
The myResearch system is scheduled to undergo a software update to deliver the latest enhancements in Huron’s grants and agreements modules to the GW research community. Grants 10.5 introduces several improvements to personnel budgeting functionality. A new setting allows for entry of personnel effort in preferred metric: percent or months. Effort can now be defined per period (academic/summer/calendar), and when a person's effort is distributed between summer and academic year, their effort will map to a single row on the R&R budget in SF424. Additional updates enable improved precision of budget period durations, promote consistent use of annualized salary values, and streamline the application of inflation in personnel cost calculations for all users.
